I was given a Spyderco Police serrated edge knife years ago and always thought highly of it. While perusing the eBay listings a few years ago I saw an auction for a Spyderco Spur from the original 1995 production run. I won that auction and was so pleased with the little knife I have bought a few more originals and one of the "Sprint Run" models without serrations.
To me the Spur was one of Spyderco's finest designs. I also have a Stretch and a Pro-Venator both of which look like larger versions of the Spur. But for all around use especially where larger knives might be feared by sheeple I have never seen a better EDC.
