I just got back from a gun and knife show, and I was fortunate enough to stumble across a somewhat rare Spyderco model called the Spur. The guy selling them was asking $69 for them, but he did come down to $59 after I "reasoned" with him for a bit. My Spur came in the 40/60 variation, and has the Kraton inserts on the handle and pocket clip just like the Pro-Grip. After about 100 cycles of opening and closing it with a squirt of LP-10 oil, that blade slides out extremely smooooth.
My other victory for the day was a Plain-edged "Q" model that was NIB for only $25 bucks. Its never been sharpened, and is in beautiful condition. The dealer was asking $30 for it originally, but after some more "reasoning" from me he dropped it down to $25. My brother also picked up a steel-handled SE Rescue model NIB for only $55 bucks. Yes, we had a killing! Chalk another one up for the Spyder-infected brothers. Heh heh
