Honestly, whenever I post on here. I am always asking which knife is better aha. Choicephobia is getting the most out of me.
ANYWAYS.
So recently I have been looking into 2 really beautiful knives. The squeak and the Chicago. Unfortunately I only have enough money to purchase one of them :(
They are about the same price, and about the same design so i honestly do not know what to pick.
Chicago has a 440c steel, G10 handel, and liner lock.
Squeak has a N690Co steel, which is like Vg10, FRN handel, and it is a slipjoint!
Would be really nice if I could get some of your opinions. Thanks y'all!

I actually own both of those knives and have been carrying the Squeak much more than I carry the Chicago. The Squeak is lighter and feels (for me anyway) better in my hand. I have no problems with the slipjoint and actually prefer it over the liner locking Chicago. And yes, the Squeak is legal almost everywhere. Oh and it comes in pink! :)

I have both ,get the squeak...they are both great but the liner lock on the chicago ,because it's so small can be a little tricky-I also feel that the n690co on the squeak is a really nice steel, takes a really nice edge.

The g10 patterned frn squeak, has a nice feel and is super-light it's easy to forget your carrying it

Images of the said Squeaks [sorry I do not have my Chicago with me at the moment]

Have not owned a Chicago, but the Squeak is a great knife. Very small and light, extremely non-threatening looking, and legal in many, many places where other knives are not. The slipjoint is actually a feature, because it makes it open and close simply and swiftly, and with the choil, is still perfectly safe for EDC use.
