Spyderco Standard

Has anyone ever owned one? I had one several years ago, and it was a heck of a good knife. Wish they could do another run of them. Did they make many G-10 delicas?

I still have one with a fully serrated blade. It was my first Spyderco and I bought it here on BFC in 2002. I loaned it to a co-worker last year when he lost his SS harpy and when I got it back the tip was mysteriously missing . He is no longer with the company and good riddance as far as I'm concerned. It's so close to the Delica I don't know why they would do another run of the standard. I have a foliage green G10 Delica too. Both are great knives.

I had both an SE and a PE

No idea why I ever sold my PE :O

Technically, they are not G-10 Delica's. They had a Worker shape handle and a Delica style blade.

The Standard isn't much different from the Delica. Blade and handle are a little shorter on the Standard.

Wonder where you could get a g-10 delica?

Here are mine. I really like this knife. Carried one for a while. The G-10 is great, blade sharp and the clip mounted near the edge for low rider carry. This G-10 Delica is nearly the same but with VG-10 steel.
