Read somewhere that Sal was seen carrying a “stag” handled Dryad.
If this is true, I suggest that he sends me a pre-production model and I will test it here in the outback of Australia.
A S.T.O.C. (Survived Tuff Outback Conditions) certified knife must be a winner!

Hi Oupa. Sorry, there is only one, and only one smaller version (Jester size) that I've been playing with. Quite handy and convenient for a "Pocket 2 bladed folder". classy as well. A tad heavy, but only a tad.

Rats!
You international wheelin/dealin businessmen knife-factory-owner types get to keep all the really nice knives!
Just not fair!
:D

oupa, I read this thread because I thought you were suggesting a "stockman slipjoint-like" multi-blade Spyderco.

I don't know why Spyderco has not yet designed a multi-blade camp/boy scout knife (for example with: can/bottle opener, screwdriver, saw blade, etc.) featuring a one hand opening main blade.

I think Victorinox has already made the knife that should have been made by Spyderco--the limited production "One Hand Trailmaster." I have one on order but I wish it could have been a Spyderco. It may be too late for Spyderco to be the first to come out with this design but Spyderco could still come out with "the best" of this design.

The Victorinox Trailmaster still doesn't have a pocket clip, does it?

As usual, I think one good idea went to Victorinox and one to Wenger (Wenger debuted a pocket-clipped SAK this year--they also produce a regular-sized lockblade SAK, while Victorinox's lockbacks are all larger "contoured" knives).

Grover-Cephas, yes the limited production Victorinox locking, one-handed Trailmaster does not have a clip. SAKs are very practical with its variety of tools all housed in a nice handle but they don't have pocket clips and (until now) didn't have locking, one hand opening main blades. Since SAKs are more for utility use than self-defense, I find bottom of the pocket or sheath carry to be satisfactory for me.

As I said in my post, Spyderco can still come out with "the best" in this design--multi-tools, pocket clip, with a locking, one-hand opening Spyderco main blade. Wouldn't you want one too?
