Spyderco Street Beat

I've had folders for as long as I can remember, but recently I have really felt the urge to get a fixed blade. After examining my options, I've been considering a Spyderco Street Beat. The knife looks beautiful and the VG10 is really attractive. I also like the size...big enough for EDC or SD tasks yet easy to carry (where legal) without freaking people out.

Would you recommend this knife?

I carry this knife daily. The grip is very secure and the blade is extremely sharp. I no longer carry folders and carry only the fixed blade...

I've been wanting one for years, but could never really justify it (either to my wallet or to a LEO if stopped). Thinking I should maybe just bite the bullet.

Looking forward to the responses…

Yes the streetbeat is IMHO the perfect EDC size fixed blade
It's just such a pleasure to carry and use.

I love it, I bought mine almost a year ago now and have not left the house without it since.

I hate recommendation threads that don't have pictures of the in question.
So here is some! ;)

This will be a purchase you will not regret.
At least not one that I did. :)

The only thing I like more than my Street Beat is my Coye Ridgeback.

154 cm blade. Green sculpted g10 over black g10 liners.

The street beat gets my recommendation. I carry mine almost every time I wear a belt, and other times I just pocket carry it. I love it, it's a well thought out design.
