Spyderco Street Bowie tang

Hey guys, I was curious if anyone had ever bothered to remove the FRN on the Spydie street bowie and knows what the tang looks like. I kind of want to remove it and put on micarta scales/a parachord wrap, but I don't know if there's really any tang at all. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

It's a 3/4 tang, and the FRN is injection molded around the tang.

Not of the Street Bowie, but this shows an x-ray of the Temperance, which should give you an idea of what you'd have to work with.

Yeah, but it makes the (larger) Street Bowie quite a bit cheaper than the Street Beat too.
