Spyderco Stretch CF - Need to replace washers

Hey all,

I can finally check this one off my must-have list. I took it apart for cleaning, polishing, etc. and the washers need to be replaced. Any chance I'll be able to get those locally?

I don't think there's any stores that sell phosphorus bronze washers but if you measure the pivot screw you can order them online.......

What exactly do you measure and where exactly do you order them from?

Btw, I called Spyderco and they shipped me a couple of washers for free.

+1 on Spyderco service. Give them a ring.

Failing that, you will have to measure the washers with a caliper. Several knife supply houses have some standard sizes. If you can't find the right size, then you'll have to go to a parts supplier like Amazon Supply or McMaster-Carr.

I would check the knife making supply stores. Get yourself a set of digital calipers and measure thickness, overall diameter and the diameter inside the hole. May I ask why they need replaced?
