alright I've had my eye on this knife for awhile. Now I had an endura and have a delica I ended up giving my endura to a buddy who needed a knife but I did love it. so my question is how does it compare to the two mentioned above I'm still on the middle ground on this one what do y'all think?

From what I remember the handle was thicker than the endura or delica. If you have large hands you may run out of room and it is very uncomfortable if you do. I wear large or XL gloves depending on the maker and I could fit my hand but it was a little scrunched.

IMO better than both the Delica and Endura, not that they're not great knives, it's just that the Stretch is exceptional, a step up.

I like it more than the Endura (the Delica is in another size range). The handle is a bit broader (not thicker, or at least not by much) and it fits my hand better than the narrower Endura handle. The FFG blade is a great slicer without having a needle thin tip.

Performance wise, if we compare a FFG Endura with a regular Stretch (FRN and VG-10), I don't think there'll be much of a difference. Same lock, same steel, same handle material, almost identical size. I think it all comes down to how each knife feels in your hand and if the difference in blade shape has any advantages for your intended use.

C90PBLE FRN BLUE STRETCH...with ZDP-189 blade. This is my dream knife. Not expensive, but hard to find. I sold my first one like a dummy, so finally found another. This blade-steel in this knife is outstanding as a slicer and offers great jimping and choil for close-up control of the blade. Love it.

I'd take a stretch over an endura, I think my stretch is my best knife for actually cutting things

Stretch is an outstanding ergonomic design, especially for extended use [no hotspots and superb grip]. The blade shape is ideal for a wide range of applications. I'd take the Stretch over all other Spyderco offerings in terms of pure cutting performance.

I agree, my FRN VG10 Stretch will cut as well as anything I own.

The Stretch is barely larger than your Delica, while packing a blade nearly as large as the Endura. If you liked your Endura (nice gift on your part!), you should love the Stretch. It remains my fave of the larger Spydies.

Have two of them. One "standard" model and one in British Racing Green with ZDP189.

If you liked the Endura and Delica at all, the Stretch would be a logical next choice to give a try.

I actually prefer the FRN/VG10 version of the stretch over the CF/ZDP-189. The FRN handle sheds a bit of unnecessary weight and provides greater traction. The VG10 may not have the wear resistance of ZDP-189, but it has far superior corrosion resistance, is MUCH [MUCH] easier to sharpen-especially in the field, and less prone to chipping due to increased toughness/lower RC.

Ultimately, the stretch is tied with the BM Grip in my book for the ultimate low cost, tough, ergonomic, and functional folder.

The Stretch is a nice knife. I do like the Delica and Endura more, but that's just personal preference. I have no complaints about the Stretch.
