Anybody like this one? I would think it would make a heck of a defense knife. Just watch hannibal. I thinking about order one to carry for defense.

There is a whole cult of hawkbill followers. This particular one has just been disco'd and can be found for just over $100 if you shop carefully. It is a very nicely made knife with extremely good ergos. If a hawkfill suits you, act now.

Love the handle, not crazy about the blade shape. I hope they make a "Leafhawk."

I love my Superhawk. Perfect ergos, perfect lock, great fit and finish, and great cutting relaxed FFG hawkbill that cuts anything with ease. My father in law liked mine so much I bought him one for his birthday and he uses his pretty hard everyday. It is just a great knife, especially for the prices floating around now.

I think it is a terrific buy it has a carbon fiber handle over stainless liners and a big plus for me is it uses the Compression Lock.

The blade (VG10) is a little thick but that means nothing since it is wide with a full flat grind that starts all the way from the top.

It is light in weight despite all of this due to the use of carbon fiber.

Fit and finish (Japanese) on the one I handled is flawless. The action is super smooth.

Overall a strong lightweight hawk bill slicer. The price of these recently went down to $107 to $114 in some places from a couple of hundred and change. They are being DC'd so I would get one.

I consider this one another true function Spydie.
