Spyderco SwayBack Marcin Slysz - Coming soon?

Sal has said that its on the back burner until Slysz's folding chef knife is released. We have a long wait ahead of us. And I don't know that Sal has ever said the Swayback is 100% going to happen.
 
Been eyeing Marcin's chef knife for a while now, and that swayback wharnie is also on my radar. I want them both. Bad.
 
We're not sure where GP Knives got their information, but this is another concept/prototype model that we are nowhere near ready to announce an ETA. Unfortunately, these unofficial announcements are causing a great deal of confusion. :confused:

Whew, you guys scared me for a minute there. I will need at least two years before this gets released... I am only saving up for it at the rate of a few cents per day.

I'll take that as an official confirmation that we'll be able to buy it next year :P
 
They need to get on this. I love Slysz knives, I love Wharncliffes, and love Spyderco. As soon as Sal decides he wants more of my money, he knows how to get it.

aye! am in favor of any Slysz designs that Spyderco would be willing to produce. Unfortunately I was just at a show where Spyderco was showing the new upcoming knives and many of the designs being considered (but not yet approved for production) and this knife was not there. Not that this means it's completely out of the question, but there were a lot of good knives in the "pipeline" already. I would sure like to see any new Slysz design coming from Spyderco within the next year or so.
 
I'll take one, or two. Don't need to even hold that to know it's a great design. I really hope this becomes a reality. This kind of small Warnecliffe is perfect for EDC, and looks great as well.
 
I'd take this and the SpydieChef. I sold my Mouse and never bought the Bowie, but these two would be beaten on like no one's business.
 
Hello friends, I hope that at least swayback goes into production, it is a stunning, modern and classic knife, a design that fits perfectly in the line of Spyderco and other great creation of Marcin Slysz. I will be attentive to any news.
