Spyderco Swick

I'd check Spyderco's website, or post over in their subforum.

They are still available. http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=401

Well, I just ordered it, for the price and the steel, I figured I couldnt go wrong. Anyone have any experince with this knife?

Im wearing one around my neck right now. Scott Gere made the sheath Im using, at a very reasonable price. Little bit of para cord and youre good to go. I must say if you would like scales there are several folks who make them. Just need to look around. Very good blade.

I got two and one sheath from Kiah. Works insanely well as a small attractive neck knife. Very people friendly too when you toss some orange paracord on there.

Great bargain priced S30V fixed blade.:thumbup:

It's a great knife. I use it for hobby stuff mostly and find it lets me work with my fingers and just slide the knife out of the way. It's nice and light as well.

Since they are a limited run, are they numbered?

no, spyderco doesn't number limited runs. Only thing they number are the collectors club knives, but for CC numbers not in use they are sold just like regular knives.

No, the limited run Swick knives without a sheath are not numbered. I have an orriginal production run without the spyder hole in the blade. I wore it during my last tour in Iraq as a SHTF final option blade and was quite pleased with it. I am also a Eskrima and Silat student and it works very well in reverse grip for kerambit techniques.

My hat is off to you, and we are grateful for your service. Glad you made it back OK.

Do you have a picture of the first run Swick? Did it come with a number?
