I'm looking for a knife I can use for my toughest jobs and not think twice. The blades I already own are:
-Spyderco Paramilitary 2 S30V
-Spyderco Manix 2 S30V (G10)
-Spyderco Native 5 S35VN (G10)
-Spyderco Delica 4 FFG
-Spyderco Techno (XHP)
I owned the southard but sold it. The manix can handle the majority of the tasks I throw at it but then I get weary when I'm on the job and have to slice through carpeting and worry about hitting a staple or wood. The techno would be perfect with its stout blade but it's too small for my intended use. I've been recommended the Slysz Bowie which I'm on the fence about.
My budget is $250. I'm looking for at least a 3.5 inch blade. Framelock or ball bearing lock or mid backlock preferred, titanium or g10 handles. I do wear gloves so the oversized spyderhole would be great but isn't necessary. I'm not looking for a knife I already own with an upgraded steel. Because it's about about the steel, if I have a cruwear manix 2, the tip will still break it off when I'm twisting and turning the knife which I need to do in order to get carpeting out. I would prefer not to carry more and heavier tools. So if you can recommend a knife that fits the criteria I'd appreciate it. If my budget is unrealistic, recommend a knife that will do what I need even if it's more expensive. Thanks
