Gosssshhhh, I already loved the pictures but those pictures... are borderline obscene!

High quality photos make knife oggling almost embarassing if not behind closed doors ;)

But seriously, those are beautiful. Szabo and Techno definite 2013 must haves.

How about a video?! ..nothin special

Thinking about either a Techno or a Sage 2 for those days when I want something a little smaller and sleeker than my large Sebenza.

Is the Techno pretty fat? I know it's fatter than the Sage, but…

Honestly, I don't even feel it when I'm carrying it. It's one of the most comfortable knives I've carried. I usually have a Manix 2, the Techno is more comfortable to carry. I don't think it matters that it's thicker.

Mines out getting a face-lift but here are some ones I took before I shipped her out.

I appreciate you all posting these pictures. The Techno is one of those knives that Ive always wanted, but wanted to see in person first. I suspect that pictures do it no justice, and it needs to be handled to be appreciated?

Yeah there really are no visual flaws that I can find. I only have two minor problems with the knife so far, and I'm nit picking. One is that I can't do the "Spyderco flick" where you flick the blade using your middle finger, because the hole on the left side is obstructed. The other minor issue is that the detent was pretty strong out of the box. This is probably a good thing, and I've noticed it becoming much smoother. It's to the point now where I can flick the blade open with my thumb without an issue. Also, my lockup hasn't moved since day one. It's right at 35-40% and will not budge. I've noticed a brown coloration on the lock bar face that meets the tang. This leads me to believe they treated the titanium to be wear resistant. Also, as JDavis pointed out in his video, the lock bar is polishing the blade tang. I think this lock will last for a very long time.

Is it about the same dimensions as a Benchmade MPR?
I don't own that knife so I'm not quite sure. It's about the same size as a Spyderco Ambitious though.

That looks awesome! Thanks for the close-ups. I didn't THINK I wanted one of these, but you are changing my mind.

I love my Sage1 and Para2, but have been thinking of adding some Ti to my collection - particularly considering how much I love my Titanium EagleTac D25C clicky.
Anyway, my LKS has the Sage2 on sale, but can't keep Techno's in stock.
Is anyone able to post comparison pics of these two Ti spydies?

It's similar to the MPR in size but really a totally different beast. I loved the MPR when I first held it but after awhile I started to see some things I didn't dig like the super light lockbar tension. it was different with the Techno. There is absolutely nothing I don't like about it. It's the perfect smaller knife (For me)

Nice pics guys. I just got mine last week, love it, it's execution is excellent. My camera can't come close to those details, so I won't try.
But, I was wondering if anyone has looked at the Spyderco emblem under magnification? All I have is an 8x magnifying glass, and under that it looks like there are very fine lines made with smaller dots that create the image. It almost looks like it's done with a pointillism technique, I just can't tell. Some portion of the image is 3D, not flat, you can feel that it has texture.
Any insight?

Just got a CF backspacer for my Techno from Cuscadi!! They are badass! I will post pics tomorrow as im falling asleep tpying!
