Thinking about either a Techno or a Sage 2 for those days when I want something a little smaller and sleeker than my large Sebenza.
Is the Techno pretty fat? I know it's fatter than the Sage, but…
Yeah there really are no visual flaws that I can find. I only have two minor problems with the knife so far, and I'm nit picking. One is that I can't do the "Spyderco flick" where you flick the blade using your middle finger, because the hole on the left side is obstructed. The other minor issue is that the detent was pretty strong out of the box. This is probably a good thing, and I've noticed it becoming much smoother. It's to the point now where I can flick the blade open with my thumb without an issue. Also, my lockup hasn't moved since day one. It's right at 35-40% and will not budge. I've noticed a brown coloration on the lock bar face that meets the tang. This leads me to believe they treated the titanium to be wear resistant. Also, as JDavis pointed out in his video, the lock bar is polishing the blade tang. I think this lock will last for a very long time.I appreciate you all posting these pictures. The Techno is one of those knives that Ive always wanted, but wanted to see in person first. I suspect that pictures do it no justice, and it needs to be handled to be appreciated?
I don't own that knife so I'm not quite sure. It's about the same size as a Spyderco Ambitious though. Is it about the same dimensions as a Benchmade MPR?
