Spyderco Techno vs Benchmade 586 Barrage

As the title indicate, I'd like to hear you guys' opinion.

I love my Techno. Design, dimention, material, fit & finish... there's no doubt that Techno is one of the Spyderco's finest. Again, I love my Techno.
However, lately, I got bitten by Barrage bug, & I can stop wondering how 586 stacks up against beloved Techno.

I have recently acquired Benchmade 100001 Volli from an amazing fellow forum member (I won't mention your name Dale), and impressed at how great the knife it is. I have never been interested in Barrage family for their chunkiness until this Volli. Blade shape & material are level above already proven Griptilian family and I like the fact that there's a safety for I'm around small children. I'm not a fan of AO at all, yet Barrages can be deassisted, unlike Emissary series.

For price range & size, it appears that Techno and 586 should be comparable. I've been thinking about trading Techno to 586, but not 100% sure, I have feeling that I might regret it. If anyone has or had both, please compare these two. If you have pic of the two side by side v that will be even better! Thanks!
 
Being that the Barrage is an assisted blade and fits the hand much differently then the Techno, I wouldn't put them into this verses that.

I have both styles of knives and I choose one for the moment or inspiration.

although i have never handled a techno, i do own a barrage and i must say they are excellent knives for the money! very comfortable in the hand and in the pocket and can definitely hold up to some abuse.

BH, if you have to keep only one, which would you keep & why?
 
I've had both, and just recently (the past 2 weeks) sold both in an effort to consolidate down to just a couple manageable users.

Both are awesome knives and a joy to use. If I could only have one, I would probably go with the mini barrage.

I find the blade shape more practical and the 154CM a very workable steel. The assisted opening is lightning fast, and I really like the axis lock. The handle is a bit peculiar and I wasn't too wild about it at first, but grew to like it.
 
The 586 is an incredible slicer and the M390 blade will stay sharp far longer than should be practically expected.

The 586 is M390, a huge step up from 154CM.
