Spyderco Temperance Questions

Hi guys,

I am considering purchasing a Temperance fixed blade. This will be my first Spyderco knife. I've priced them on Spyderco's wevsite and they have the best price. However, the knife comes from Spyderco with an injection molded plastic sheath...a deal breaker for me.

Has anyone ordered a Temperance recently and received the Kydex sheath? Are they still available.

Is IWB carry possible with the sheath provided?

Are you happy with your Temperance?

I have a pair of the Temperance (PE & fully serrated), and I love those knives! They really feel good & secure in the hand, and both of mine came VERY sharp. That VG-10 is an excellent steel.

I can't speak about the sheath material, but the Tec-Lok can be removed and an IWB belt-loop installed for IWB carry...No problem there.

Willieboy...

The OEM sheath with the Spyderco Temp won't do IWB on it's own. It would need some type of clip or loop to be able to conceal..
