So I accidentally partially disassembled my Tenacious. I removed the blade pivot screw to apply Loctite and the tube holding the blade in place fell out along with the blade, luckily I'm not missing any parts.

What type of drivers do I need and in what size? How do you actually unscrew the body screws because I see heads on both sides? I've used Torx bits on the clip and pivot screw but they don't seem work on the body. The screws rotate but don't move vertically.

I would ask on Spyderco's forums but I don't have an "official" e-mail address.

The Tenacious uses metric hex screws, crappy ones, they strip very easy if you're not careful. Use needle nose pliers to hold the barrels between the screws and you may be lucky.

I manage to put it back together by holding the bushings as I inserted the tang into the handle then inserting the tube. It was rather tedious and took a while. No more need for you all to respond, as if anyone else was going to anyway.

Is it possible to remove the blade and the phosphor bronze washers without opening the handle?

I'd like to polish the washers and the blade tang on my Persistence if I can do so without having to disassemble the entire knife.

Unscrew the pivot screw and remove it. Then slide the knife away from the handle, and if the washers didn't come out use a toothpick or something similar to remove them.

Had a feeling that might work, but good to know for sure. It sounds like working out the hex screws to open the knife could lead to more problems than would be worth.

You removed the blade pivot screw but need the tools to put it back? How did you get it out?

I've actually found in a jam (i was away from home at a relatives) if you can't get a hex screw, get an allen key the same size and very slowly and carefully with a lot of downward pressure and holding straight you can remove most frame screws on knives and if the pivot bolt isn't cranked down or loctited, that too. I used that trick to swap out the pocket clip on a few knives. It doesn't strip if you get the right sized allen key, but i don't recommend doing it, just saying it can be done in a pinch. But yeah as berandom said, just remove the pivot screw with a hex wrench, then put the wrench through the pivot itself and push it out the back of the knife handle, then remove the blade.
