Spyderco tenacious HELP

I took apart my tenacious, cleaned it, and put it back together. Everything is smooth and I don't see missing parts but on YouTube videos there are 4 bronze washers. Mine only had 3. Am I missing it.

If the knife works fine, don't worry. It's a fairly inexpensive knife so I doubt it will hurt anything.

I've seen them with two washers on one side and only one on the other - differing sizes and thicknesses of washers, too. I even tried to order another set for the knife, and the folks at Spyderco weren't even sure which washers the knife used, so they sent me a small baggie of multiple washers and sizes. Works for me!

I took mine apart and there was 4 washers.

The two of the one in the middle on the lock side and two of the one on the right on the non lock side.

I replaced all 4 of them with two washers (one on each side) with washers from a Paramilitary 2. (The one on the left)

Why? Now you can't see the washers.

Before

After

It's just as smooth if not smoother.

Are you sure the washers aren't just stuck together? They're pretty thin.

That's what I was thinking, that they might be stuck. I don't feel like fiddling with it until tomorrow. Thanks guys. I also emailed spyderco about it.

I just cleaned up my buddies tenacious and it had 4 as well. They are paper thin and stuck together. I found out it had 4 only because I went to go polish them and they slid apart.

i put the smaller ones on the lock side so it won't interfere with the lock bar. But as RevDevil said "If the knife works fine, don't worry."

I just checked mine visually, and the washer is larger on one side than it is on the other (You can see the size difference between the clip holes in the scales). Now I'm tempted to take mine apart and see what the washer situation is. Doesn't bother me though on a $42 knife that performs flawlessly, but I am curious now.
