Stefan,

I'm interested in the result. In my experience, it seems Spyderco Reailience has better edge retention than the Navy (k631). I guess the Navy is not a true 440C, but either 8Cr or 9Cr.

Have not tested the Enlans I have against Resilience. Might not be easy, due to different blade grind/profile & thickness, that make the Enlans having more resistance going through cardboard.

Tried to use a SAK to do the same, and found it easier than even the Resilience, although the edge doesn't last as long. Thus must be due to thinner blade and lower (flat) grind angle than Resilience.

probably is some cheap china 7cr13 steel - i used to have a navy K615

Damn, that's even lower :(

Anyway, will check your videos later.

Off Topic
Saw your Resilience rope testing. Was the edge able to shave afterward? How much degradation being noticed? It seems the shaving test was done on the edge belly toward the tip, which might not be the same spot it was used for rope test?

Edit: I can't find the video on iPhone's MxTube, searching by your username, Tenacious & Enlan EL04.
