Recently received the Tenacious in a passaround. It's an inexpensive folder made in China like the Byrds, but is part of the Spyderco line.
For a under-$50 folder it seems like a good knife. The blade is slightly under 3.5" long, and it has a liner lock and grippy G-10 scales.
The passaround Tenacious has a 50/50 half-serrated edge. A PE version would've been better, as the serrations were snagging during cutting.
My only other complaint is that the pocket clip would be better if it were blackened. The bare metal, while unpolished, is still quite noticable.
Knife cut well through paper and cardboard, and the lockup seemed solid. Fit & finish were better than expected. This would make a good utility knife.
