Spyderco throwing knife?

I found a old Patent from 1997
It shows a spyderco throwing knife called it the "S shaped throwing knife"
It's shaped like a s (shocker) with both tips sharpened and four holes drilled into the middle
any one have any info? Proto made? Never made?

I'd love to know any help will be Appreciated

It was designed to stick every time and works well. The shape/form drives the tips. We wanted to make a special launcher to simplify throwing. I have a bautiful Damascus version made by Judd Evans of Evergreen.

We've just been too busy to develop the launcher. We tried one outsource for design but he wasn't able to create what I was after.
