spyderco TI mili question

So I have what I thought was an original run Ti Mili this one has a small plastic (?) spacer that is black in between the two titanium slabs is this an original run? i bought it right around the ti milis inception? thx

The easiest way to tell if you have an early Ti military is that it will have no steel insert in the lockbar.

I think the backspacer is aluminum. Its easy to strip the threads in it if you overtighten the body screws. I replaced mine with standoffs.

The early plastic backspacer has stainless steel standoffs inside. Newer ones have anodized aluminium backspacers.
