Spyderco ti military lock slipping?

Hello blade forums! I have a question about my ti Spyderco military. I've had the knife for about 2 months, and recently noticed my lock slipping. The knife is dated to 10/2011, and has the steel insert. When I received the knife it was stiff, but after break in it its action is real slick and nice, with no blade play side to side, just slipping up and down. I can notice when hard cutting, suck as cutting ripe on a table or such, but mostly when doing a check for up and down blade play. It's never failed, and I've never been able to force it to, but I've never really tried to make it fail. I've never used the knife for batoning or prying or the such. Does anyone have a fix or recommendations? I love the knife, but the slipping makes me cautions to carry it. Will spyderco's warranty cover this? What would the warranty do? Sorry for all the questions I'm concerned about my favorite edc :)

I say if it's a real concern send it in for a check up. If there are worn out parts I believe they will replace them. If it turns out to be something they cannot fix they may offer a replacement if the problem is caused by materials or workmanship. Are you the first owner? If not do you know if the first owner disassembled the knife? If so this could have caused the issue and they will not cover it under warranty

There's a noticeable click when there's negative pressure put on the blade. I got in bnib, I'm pretty certain it was not disassembled.

There isn't anything folks here can do that doesn't require a lot of speculation so take things with a grain of salt. Many times people get different answers and someone will invariably recommend adjustment which is often the beginning of real problems that require you to have to pay for. If you don't trust it send it in for warranty. Unless you did something ( or the guy you bought it from) it should be warranted. Only they can really tell what the problem is anyways.
