I have a Ti Military coming in the mail tomorrow and wanted to have some work done to it. I plan on having a G10 scale made that brings the index finger choil more in line with the lockbar. The more risky idea that I have entails drilling out the handles so that larger stand-offs/screws can be installed as well as removing the back spacer. With those modifications it seems like it would be the perfect military.

What do you all think?

IMHO, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, if the mods you want to do will make the knife better for you, that's all that matters. That said, I would suggest trying to find a way to replace the front slab and add the standoffs without modifying the lock side of the knife (nice diameter standoffs held on by original screws). That way, if you ever change your mind and want to reverse the process, you can.

I agree...I'll end up doing whatever I want in the end. I'm putting this idea out there (specifically the larger screws/stand offs) (1) to see if someone else has tried it and (2) if consensus says it would not work.
