I have two Spyderco knives that I can't find much information on.
The first is a D'Holder Toad C86P. While I can find some information for the D'Alton Holder designed Toad C57P, I can't find any references to a C86P.
The second knife is a modified Yojimbo 2 with the blade shortened to 2-1/2" and Michael Janich's signature imprinted on the blade. It is or was apparently sold as a Chicagojimbo by an outfit called 5x5 Combat Solutions. That is literally all I can find on either knife. Is anybody out there familar with either knife?

C86P is the Spin, designed by Eric Glesser, not D'Alton Holder. I've heard of the ChicagoJimbo, but never run across one.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like I have a D'holder Toad that was in a C86p box. Knife blade has D'holder Toad printed on it but it was in a Spyderco box with a C86p Spin UPC tag. Still going through the estate, so the Spin may still turn up. Think I read somewhere that the Toad was produced around late 1990's. Does that sound right?

1999 or 2000, thereabouts. I'd have to dig mine out and see if there is anything on the box to date it.

Interested in selling the Chicagojimbo?
