Spyderco Tuff sprint run: what will it be?

So what will the next Tuff be like? A full titanium sprint run,or maybe a 3.25" blade Tuff-2 ? Im praying (and saving) for a full ti version with revised ergonomics and a reduced forward choil.
I absolutely love my Tuff, quirks and all but there are a few things id change if i could.
3-D machined titanium handle with rounded corners and a useable single finger choil would be first on the list. The increased cutting edge would be an added benefit of the modified choil.
Maybe move the thumbramp forward a bit and cut sharper, more effective jimping.
Keep the awesome CPM 3V blade steel or perhaps swap it for CPM M4 ??? And oh yeah, trade the G-10 backspacer for a jimped and raised version, maybe in titanium. Thats the Spyderco im waiting for but who knows what if anything we'll get?
Anyone hear anything or care to comment?

Im wondering the same thing. Im tempted to plop $400 plus on the nirvana but i would really rather have a doctored up Tuff.
Im new to bladeforums and forums period and dont know where to go for that kind of info. Im hoping someone out there can give reliable info on what we can expect from Spyderco.

This forum is a good place to look for info about new models. There is a catalogue and a mid year supplement that shows most of what's to come. There are also a couple of times a year when they show off prototypes and many of us attend those events and report back. There are also lots of discussions on here about upcoming models as well as discussions like this thread about what we would like to see. Spyderco pays attention and many come to fruition. I haven't heard anything about a Tuff2 or sprint run Tuff but anything is possible. Let your voice be heard and welcome to the forum.

Thanks BFK. Yes i figured this might be a good place to get info. After seeing the 2016 Spyderco lineup i was dissapointed there was no Tuff update. I thought this would be the year.
Although ive noticed new models popping up that werent in the catalog,i didnt realize they continually release new model prototypes/sprint runs. Or if there was a way of knowing what and when a particular model is coming. I just wasnt sure how that works so thanks for the info. Ill keep an ear out on the forum. And if anyone else has info please let me know.
And if Spyderco is listening, please give us a new Tuff! Theres just something special about that knife! Admittedly its not perfect but nothing else gives me the satisfaction and pride of ownership the Tuff does. More! More! More!

Honestly I doubt it. The Tuff wasn't a very popular knife IIRC and Spyderco has a lot on their plate this year with new releases..
