What are your thoughts about the Spyderco Tuff.. Is it worth the money? Or should I buy something else?

All responses are welcome

You can't flick it and it isn't my first choice for daily carry, but if you want an overbuilt folder this is it!

I bought one the week they came out. I've carried and used it on and off for about 6 months. I can say that the knife is about as solidly built as you can ever find. Ed Shempp knows exactly how to design a hard core knife, and this is absolutely impressive. The attention to detail is high, the steel was treated very well, the ergos are excellent.

Making me want one even more. It moved up on the buy list. 556, tuff. Lol.

My bank account has taken a serious beating since I've signed up here and you guys aren't making it any easier.

My Tuff flicks open with ease.
It is a beast of a folder, it may look strange, but it feels really good in hand and I like it a lot.

I love mine-it was my daily carry for several months. For some reason I've been trying to switch it up and I've gone through several of my other knives but I can't find any that i like better. It is a beast of a knife, which I love-my only complaint is that i wish it had less choil and more cutting edge on the blade, I understand the reasons why it was done the way it was, I'm just being picky.

If you are on the fence-BUY IT! I am fairly certain I will not be able to break this knife-and my background involves breaking anvils with rotten apples.

@SHKnives------Bought it on Amazone.de.. Normally, it takes 2 days to get delivered, but sometimes only 24hours:-)

One tough cookie I tell you. It was my first 3V blade. Didn't really dig the overall visual appearance before, but the ergonomic and functionality is just fantastic. Overbuilt is just about as fair as it gets. Been my daily carry for a while already. Oh yeah, it chop wood like no one's business. Great outdoor/backup/bug out bag blade.

Just got mine today. Love it! Its huge but in a good way. I am loving it so far looks to be a great knife.

Tuff is going to be my next Spydie. I don't really have any "overbuilt" knives, but I think the Tuff is a great, affordable entry into the world of ridiculously tough, chunky knives.
