Spyderco UKPK + Thanks

Hello everyone,
I was thinking of getting a spyderco UKPK
BUT... I dont really know about the steel CTS-BD1.
How good of an edge dose it hold? is it brittle? is it a hard or soft steel?
Also thanks to everyone who helped me with questions
and put up with my lame jokes

How about getting a UKPK with S30v steel? It has Foliage Green G10 handles instead of the FRN, but it is about twice the cost.

I have the Orange G10 UKPK with S30v steel and it is a beautiful knife!
