Spyderco value line versus Byrd line

So what is the difference, besides the round hole versus the comet? Both made in China, same materials, etc. I don't know if they are made in the same factory though. I have a Byrd Crow, been very pleased with it. I use is almost daily for normal pocket knife chores and for my needs I prefer it over any other knife I have, which is why I carry it the most. I have only one real complaint, the steel could be better. In my experience the 8Cr13MoV is mediocre at best. My question arises because I would like to try the Spyderco Persistence, much like what I have, but with the round hole and more edge in a similar size package. Thanks for your thoughts.

i have some byrds and a tenacious the fit and finish is way better on the spyderco line than the byrd line but both series are great user knives IMO.

I'll second that. The tenacious is head and shoulders above the Byrd line in fit and finish. Way smoother.

I was looking at some Byrd's on the internet today. I was wondering how the Robin would compare to the Dragonfly.
