Spyderco Vesuvius -- GORGEOUS knife, but a question?

If you are familiar with the Spyderco Vesuvius, please tell me whether it is pinned/riveted together or if it is constructed so as to be able to be taken apart (using torx screws etc.)

I have reached a point where I do not like knives that are put together one definitive time at the factory and they had better be tight or you'll have a wobble that you can't affect. Now it is important to me to have the option of adjusting screw tension, or being able to get at the knife's guts, etc.

I think the Vesuvius is the most elegant, attractive-looking Spyderco knife I have ever seen. I can't believe I only just discovered it! And the price is so incredibly reasonable!!

Anyone care to post their impressions of this knife? I am strongly considering buying one very soon.

Thanks,

I just pulled my combo edged, blue inlay Vesuvius from the safe to check for ya. There are 3 small torx screws with spacers (it's got an open back) holding the halves together as well as the larger torx pivot screw. I'm sure you could take it apart, although it's not recommended by Spyderco. Getting it back together properly might be the problem. I love mine but you'll get mixed reviews as you look into it further. I agree that it's a great deal. Do a search on the Spyderco forum for more info.
