Wahoo! I finally got my Delica. Absolutely wonderful! And scarily sharp. I think I've mentioned this before, but several months ago I found a Delica wannabe at the Black and Decker factory outlet store in Woodburn, Oregon, in a little bin by the register for about $2.50. The basic design is similair, but the $38 quality difference is amazing. The cheap look-alike lost the molded plastic belt clip in about two weeks, actually a bit longer than I expected it to last. I don't think the Spyderco clip will EVER break, although if I don't stop playing with it I might need a new screw

Did I mention the rust? Pretty quick. After about a month it started showing. Now, it looks more like a rust pile than a knife. And the blade isn't very sharp at all anymore, not that it was very sharp when it was new compared to the real thing. Well, here are some pictures to look at. Just popped the knives into the scanner.
OK, I give up. What's the secret to images? Linking to Tripod doesn't work, hopefully Geocities will:

It just proves the old saying:"you can name a pig ROVER, but you can't teach it to fetch"!!!

The spyderco knives will alway win against those cheap inferiors!!
