I just purchased two Walker Lwts from SMKW. They're on closeout for $30. Great design - beautiful finish on the blades. It's the exact size I've been looking for in a Spyderco knife. I just wish they had been produced with sturdier handles.

I got a lightweight one from SMKW too. I also have a plain edge version with aluminum handles that I got from Ironstone. At the time I didn't want the zytel handles because I thought they were too thin. I haven't carried the lightweight one enough to decide if it will hold up well.

The Walker Lightweight is a good gentleman's folder...IMO it is definitely not a heavy-duty knife. It excels at light cutting where a razor-sharp blade is needed for precise slicing.

I picked one up on eBay for a song, but was disappointed at the molded-on clip. Just don't care for that. :(

I had never seen the backside of one before, and figured it would have the clip like the Horn Lightweight does.

Other than that, it's a cool little knife. My dad certainly liked it when I gave it to him! :D

I ordered one from SMKW also. It is a very nice lightweight knife for the price and the integral clip did not bother me at all.

The Walker is a nice knife. I just wish that they would have left that swedge off of the lightweight and left it like the custom version with the carbon fibre scales. Oh well...
