You'll get a quick response if you send them a strong worded email about that dept not answering the phone or returning phone calls when you leave a message...
I sent them my CF/M390 Military because of a concern I had with it, which they received on April 26, and didn't receive my replacement knife until yesterday afternoon. Almost seven weeks to resolve my problem.......highly unacceptable, IMO, when compared to the Spyderco customer service of old.
Many years ago, I had an Endura that they ended up replacing because of a faulty lock and from the time that I sent it in until the time I got the new knife was only about three weeks. To top that off, I never had to call them up.....Spyderco CS called me. It's sad to say but their CS is definitely not the caliber that it used to be. ESPECIALLY when it comes to keeping in touch with a customer.
