Wow!
My reaction when I received my Ti Military back from Spyderco today.
When I went to replace the front scale with an engraved one that I got here on BF, one screw backed out no problem I thought they all should.
My mistake, and of course I know I should have heated the screws, but hard headed that I am, I ended up twisting one off and stripping the heads of others.
I thought I was going to have to live with my mistakes, then I read on these forums about Spyderco's "if it ain't warranted just send $25 with it and if possible it will be repaired."
I contacted the real nice Charlynn in customer service who explained what to do.
Sent it in with explanation, and in about 2 weeks, received it back in excellent shape with new screws, lanyard tube, pocket clip and probably a new back spacer and blade stop.
i am very happy with Tim and the repair crews work.
Recommend to one and all Spyderco customer service.
Happy Holidays to all at Sryderco.
