..... in Illinois? Specifically - is it classified as "double edged" and, therefore, illegal? TIA - john
 
I can't see how it wouldn't be.
 
It's got two edges, so it's double edged. Just because one is concave and serrated, doesn't make it not an edge.
 
Legal to own? Yes, no knife is illegal to own in any state with very rare exceptions related to autos. Legal to carry? No.
 
On second thought, I see where the confusion is.

The Spyderco warrior is somewhat different from the original Al Mar warrior in that the tip is less daggerlike.

Which begs the question, what makes a knife double edged? Does the saw back on something like a Phrobis bayonet make it double edged?

In this case, it's a little bit simpler, as the spyderco has a serrated edge, not a saw, on the back side, making it clearly double edged.
