I was thinking about buying this knife and I just want to hear your thoughts on this knife.

You mean this one?

It's a lovely knife, it's one of the nicer looking Spydercos (I like that there's no "hump"). And you can't argue against good old VG-10. The only thing I don't like about the other Goddard models, is that a lot of them seemed to be combo edge or serrated.

I had one, they are pretty nice. It is a very light weight, (no liners) large bladed edc,it was one of the sharpest Spyderco's I ever got out of the box with typical Seki F/F. The impression it left on me was that it was still very strong with the FRN only handle, a little on the expensive side, but if you are a Spydie fan definitely worth a look.

You might find this older one for sale. If you do please let me know, an unscrupulous trader here robbed it from me.

I have the original light weight model. other than being black frn, saber ground, and a different steel it's the same knife.

my thoughts:

it's extremely thin and light weight for the blade length, which is a big positive. the linerless build is still more than strong enough for your average Edc needs. and it has a very attractive profile.

I don't like the grip much as I don't like the "locked in" grip style. some people like that though. also being so thin is good for your pocket, but less enjoyable in hand. it also feels blade heavy, which I don't mind.

I was more than happy when I carried mine for a few months, but then I discovered the Spyderco Military.
