Not sure why I called it "splitting hair" instead of whittling, but it takes too long to render so I'm not fixing it lol.

The Yojimbo 2 is sharpened to a 30 inclusive back bevel, polished up to 16k and then stropped with 40/14/.5 micron diamond paste, and then has a 600 grit micro bevel applied at 36 degrees. The bevel polish is really just for looks since the true edge is a basic toothy 600 grit edge. The hardest part for me when doing this is just having a steady enough hand to not slice all the way through the hair (which you'll see I do quite a few times). The hair being whittled is my 4 year old daughter's hair, which is quite fine.

Enjoy!
