Hey guys I needed to sharpen my stretch 2 so I just decided to reprofile it. To even up everything. So I figured with the blade being so thin 15 degrees on each side would probably make this knife a great slicer.
Is this angle okay for this spyderco steel? Or is it too thin? Its on a Stretch 2.
I figured it was hard enough to take this angle, did I just screw up my knife.
Thanks for the help guys.

15 degrees (per side) is just fine.

You didn't screw your knife up at all.

15 degree per side is not thin but average angle. It works perfect for me on ZDP189 knives. Also I think this is what Spydeco usually do.

Thanks, Vassili.

To reprofile ZDP-189, you are much better off using the diamond sticks if you are using a Sharpmaker. As already 15 degrees is fine.
