I have been carrying my Delica 4 ZDP-189 for over a year now. The Steal is exceptional! Stays Sharp, gets sharper.

Last night, I was cutting pickles...(for bloody marys). Cleaned my knife off.

Spots! Spots on the blade!

This knife has never stained. Why now? Any suggestions on cleaning the spots off?

There is a cleanser that you can buy at most grocery stores. It is usually located right where they keep the Ajax and Comet. IT is called "BAR KEEPER's FRIEND". It doesn't work like most scouring powders do but rather like a chemical cleaner and polish all in one. It is truly the best commercial cleaner to eliminate rust & corrosion that I have ever come across. You can also find it in most hardware stores.

It is also great for cleaning most sharpening stones. Especially Ceramic and Novaculite ( Arkansas) stones.

Make a little bit of a paste with it and then gently clean it with a toothbrush. Now there is one other product that works great for cleaning corrosion off of metal. It is called FLITZ. Give them both a try and let us know how it worked for you :)

Pickles in a martini? Now that's more distressing than a little staining on your blade...
