I did alittle work on my heavy users with the sodering (sorry I cant spell) iron to add some stipple, to improve grip nothing huge but man what a diff, made the perfect knife even better. I did this on some old endura and delica's I had.

You've hit on two of the strong points of FRN there murray. It doesn't take a bazillion bucks worth of tools to modify it to better suit your needs, and it's inexpensive enough that you don't feel bad about doing that.

Did the same to my Delica, but with a dremel. I'd like to see some pics of your work.

I will take one when I get home or tomorrow the first one is not that pretty but still works well I may do another on I have.
