Seriosly? ...Native all the way. Better steel. you want a better knife get the Native. you want to save money get one of the other two.

there both around 50 bucks where i saw them.. and the only reason im asking is because of the pivot pin on the native..?

I have Enduras and a Native 4. Out of all I like the Endura FFG the best. The Native only comes out when it's 110 plus here. It's so small you don't even feel it.

Delica 4 FFG! Better ergos, better slicer, and very practical. S30V may have a marginal edge retention advantage over VG-10, but in my experience VG-10 is a LOT easier to sharpen.

I tend to think of the Delica and Endura only coming in VG10. but I found out the Endura also comes in ZDP189 for about $100.00 bucks. that may be the way to go.

I like my old Endura because it's a thinner package than the Native, therefore easier carry clipped IWB.

never understood the appeal of the natives. ive tried several of them and never could get used to the ergos and love them like everyone else. the native 5 is a different story with its s35vn ffg blade, functioning choil, g10 slabs and full steel liners... its like comparing a persistence with a sage 1.

i vote endura/delica over the native...

I'm guessing you're talking about this Native...

I admit to being a Spyderco noob (in that this is my first, and currently only Spyderco) but I LOVE this knife. Best folder I've ever had - and it's made here in the states. Gotta love it. :)

Both are excellent. Native has great ergos and seems as though it was made for my hand. Delica and Endura also have outstanding ergos, but I prefer the choil on the Native. That having been said, I'd probably buy a full flat ground Endura or Delica over the standard FRN Native just based on grind. Between the Sabre ground Enduras and Delica's and the standard Native, I'd go standard Native...I don't find Sabre ground to be very good at slicing.

Endura is my preference. I actually like VG-10 better than S30V and, if you've got big mitts, knives like the Delica and Native can be a bit uncomfortable.

Which one do you like better, without the worry of any marginal performance difference between the steel types?

The old natives were a pain to open for me, for some reason the frame torqued and the blade would get squeezed. Never had the problem with any Delica. But once open, the native4 is a better knife hands down, don't know about the 5 as I think the FFG killed the looks of the knife.
