I've left a couple messages with Spyderco's website no replies, so I'll follow up here. I know Spyderco use to to have a sharpening policy where you paid shipping, but does Spyderco do any refurbishing? The probably don't need it, but I have a Foliage Military and Para-Military I would like to sharpen and clean up to gift my son who's a new Infantry 2LT. I'm just trying to track down the cost and who exactly to ship to...

Iirc they sharpen and sometimes reprofile a blade when there are small defects with the edge (small missing tip etc). I don't think they have a spa service like CR.

They still sharpen for free, you pay (if I remember right) $5.00 for return shipping. They have done a great job of cleaning up other knives I've seen. A phone call works better than web messages.
