Spydercos with thin blades?

The Bunko Bocho is a 1.9mm / .075” chef knife. That’s off the Spyderco website. I measured 1.9 close to the handle. The spine tapers slightly as it gets closer to the downward angle and drops off more as you get to the tip. I measured less that .5mm about 1/4” behind the edge. I have a cheap electronic caliper.
It’s also beautiful

I haven't remember too many Spyderco models with "thin blades" but I do remember that the Caly JR had a much thinner blade than most models.

Probably the thinnest I can remember would be the SPYDERCARD model.

I also seem to remember the older Vesuvius model having a somewhat thinner blade. It's hard to remember very many past Spyderco models with thin blades because most of the ones I ever used and carried had really beefy spines on them.

The Jess Horn models like the one Brother mentioned did seem to have a thinner blade on them.

For their overall size I do seem to remember most of the Calypso models had thinner blades than most. Like I said most of the full sized Spyderco models had really thick spines on them. I think the later version of the Catcherman that they made with MBS-26 blade steel was much thinner than the earliest ones made with AUS-8. You really have to think hard to come up with thin bladed models in Spyderco's line up.

I second the Watu. Probably the thinnest grind in the catalog. The tip is a thing of beauty.

Less than 3mm in width is a pretty low bar.

Just doing a cursory scan of my collection, I can count the following Spyders (22 of them) at less than 3mm in width and there are probably more that I don't currently own or never owned (like the Balance, Catcherman, Kopa and Silverax that I've previouslyowned/sold which would make at least 26):

Ayoob
Calypso
Centofante 3
Des Horn
Hanan
Ikuchi
Introvert
Karahawk
Kiwi
Mantra 1
Mantra 2
Mantra 3
Pattadese
PITS
P'Kal
Positron
Shabaria
Stretch Gen1
Terzuola Slipit
Terzuola ATS34
UK Slipit
Watu

Mostly smaller folders and fighting knives with the exception of the Calypso (from which I believe that the Caly series was derived) which is a "big" knife (4" blade and micarta scales) and a very cool knife to own, if you don't have one already.

It's one of my favorites from my small sub-collection of vintage Spyders.

Speaking of the Centofante, is there any consideration to bring back the compression lock, like the Vesuvius?

I wouldn't mind a more traditional looking folder that might pass better as an office EDC, and while I appreciate the back lock for the strength, I do like the compression lock.

Edit: durr I can't write.

I'm looking for Spydercos with blades thinner than 3mm/0.118"

I already have a Chaparral.
Ask Spyderco to send you one of their great catalogs. All the measurements are in there.
I feel the Flat grind Spydercos seem thinner than the hallow ground ones. My Sliverax and Mantra 2 seem real thin and very slicy.
