Spyderedge Sprint Runs Wanted?

Here in the past year I can't tell you all how many times I've heard my Spyder Brethren call out for a Sprint Run of the past/discontinued C-36 Spyderedged Military model of the past ( mainly the 440V SE model). I've personally wanted to see the return of the Spyderedged Dodo model as well as a Spyderedged version of the C-111 Captain model. And I'm not the only one who has been asking for those models in SE.

There are many great Spyderco models that for whatever reason they never offered them in Spyderedge and I know that models like the Superhawk, The TUSK model, and Captain I believe would sell out quick in SE. So tell us what Spyderco models would you all like to see in Spyderedge? For a Sprint Run or for a past model to return to the main line in SE that has been discontinued>> because there are a lot of them that are wanted in SE.

Also I don't care if it would be a folder or fixed blade. OK which models in a Spyderedged Sprint?

That's a great suggestion. Because the Spyders with a full flat grind tend to make great Spyderedged blades. The original C-54 big Calypso model was also a full flat grind and I had one in Spyderedge and it was a mega-beast of a cutter.

The C-36 Military is another prime example of that. I can't tell you how many people in the past year I've talked to that want to see the return of the C-36 Military in full SE.
 
I don't really know what choice of steel would work best in a SE.
Any steel that's tough to sharpen in a plain edge would have to be a nightmare to sharpen on a SE.
Although I'm talking out my a$$ here, because I've never sharpened a SE. I'm sure the mad scientists in Golden would figure it out tho.
 
goddard......that would be my first pick right after military.
 
I'd like to see the Military in SE. I'd also like to see the Police 4 in SE.

Having said this, I'm glad the PM2 is currently offered in SE. I'm also glad to see that the Rescue 3 is now FFG/SE. I like FFG with SE.

And yes, the return of the Spyderhawk...wow!

I would love to see a SE Dodo sprint run with the looks of the latest Yojimbo 2 sprint. Black DLC S90V blade with brown G10 handle! As far as I am concerned SE is the only way to go with the Dodo anyhow.

Excellent suggestion!! I've always thought that the SUPERHAWK truly got derailed by them not making it available in Spyderedge the first time around. Oh I liked it in PE and I still have one but a Spyderedged Superhawk would truly be a game changer for sure.

Yeah I also liked the really high quality Carbon Fiber handle that the original Superhawk had and it would be my wish for them to keep the CF handle. I truly believe that if they brought back the SUPERHAWK in full Spyderedge they wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelves.
