Anyone used this tool? I thought I knew just about all the multi tools out there but just ran into this thing today. Talk about a unique tool  Does it work well, or is it just a good idea?

It depends on your needs are for a multi-tool. It is very well made. Most people who have one love it, but although I fondled one more than once at a dealer, I never bought one because it wouldn't do all that I needed a multitool to do. It had what was arguably the best knife blade available on a multitool when it was introduced, and it's still a better blade than most. The wrench is cool, but only opens to 9/16". And the slip joint pliers are usefull, but can't really take the place of needle nose pliers if that's what you need. The screwdriver that uses standard insert bits is a great idea. There aren't many chances to get one of these anymore. There was someone assembling these from leftover parts and selling them on Ebay once in a while.

I agree with the above observations.

I owned one and it is the best made multi-tool that I have ever owned, but it was not as functional as I needed.

I sold it. I just never used it.

The guy selling them on Ebay was the original designer. He put alot of thought and effort in its design. Spyderco is supposed to be developing another tool.
