:D Enyone have one of these's . I just orderd one from New Grams. How do you like it and how is the quilty.

I've got a spyderfly. I really like it--the spyderholes are very useful for drawing and for latchdrops (spyderdrops). It has a spring latch, which is nice and a fairly rare feature. It's very smooth and comparable in performance to my 41MC. I have the original vg10 model, and I rather like VG10, although this doesn't get carried much for the obvious reasons.

But the QC is just not that fantastic. I've got the witness lines, which aren't a big deal at all to me, but mine shipped with a very bent latch. That bothered me for awhile but as soon as I got over it, the latch stopped working entirely. It works like a t-latch now, which is okay, not a big deal.

There's just a little too much handle play. The handle play is actually very comparable to a Benchmade, but there isn't quite as much clearance for the blade, so my blade has some minor scratches from the handle on it.

If you get a good one you'll be very happy. Much better deal than the Benchmades, but again, the quality control is much lower.

Not as nice as a Bencmade bali, but nice none the less.

Personally I like lighter balis, and the Spyderfly is pretty heavy, so its really not my cup of tea.

Its the cheapest bali that I would trust to flip extensively.

for the price, the Spyderfly is an excellent balisong. even in 440C, which is a very good steel, i would say go fot it. the handle is DIFFERENT, and swings differently than other balisongs. if you like it, get it!
