Spyderhawk Scuba???

Im leaving tomorrow a.m. for Puerto Rico where I'll be doing alot if diving. And seeing as how I cannot find my dive knife I've decided to clip my Spyderhawk PE to my BC. I already tried opening it wih gloves on - no problem. I think it will make a fine dive companion seeing as how if I DID need to cut something it would be something which I had gotten tangled in such as fishing line, seaweed, rope etc., I'll be sure to take some pics. I will be buying another fixed blade knife for diving however this will do in a pinch rather nicely.

you should try opening it with gloves on and your hand underwater. Seems like opening a spydie underwater would be a completely different feeling

You probably want to lube it up with something ahead of time, to protect it from the salt-water. Diving in Puerto Rico sounds awesome!
