I was one of several police/fire/ems units to arrive at a 1 car roll-over accident tonight. The two occupants were hanging upside down by their seatbelts (with injuries). Once the EMT closest to me had his patient stabilized (as best it could be) he was looking for scissors to cut the seatbelt. Out comes my SpyderHawk, and he sliced through that material like "Butta". The other occupant had to be extricated with "Jaws" and they used some other tool to get his belt off.

Yet another example of superior tools in use! Thanks again for making the 'Hawk, Sal!

Just noticed an ad in August Blade mag of the Gerber/Emerson collaboration(page 31)...They show a very similar scenario (only I wasn't inside the wreck-another LEO was) and mine wasn't a staged advertisement shot!

I kinda like that...They're advertising but the Spydie was busy DOING!!!

That's why we love Spydies!

Sadly, the passenger expired from apparent complications of injuries received in the crash on 6-17-03. This is now a fatal accident investigation...
