hi i am from australia, and have just managed to get my hands on a FRN black handled, fully serrated spyderhawk. The handle says "clipit endura" and the blade says "081".

just wondering about the serial numbers and such, and if a knife such as this has any added value(how much its worth), as it seems no one in australia here has a spyderhawk, let alone a low serial numbered one like this anyway.

thanks

I am not by any means a Spyderco expert (I'm speculating based on only a couple of facts), but the Spyderhawk may end up being one of their more rare knives -- it was only in production for a couple years before being discontinued, and it is probably the most agressive looking blade they ever produced. It's probably too early to talk about collector value, but because of the above it may eventually become quite desirable, with the early "endura" handled models like yours being especially hard to find.

Personally, I think hawkbill folders are fun to own.
