I'm apparently some sort of idiot when it comes to Spyderco knives. I see all these videos of people flipping non-wave Spyderco folders open with deft flicks of the wrist or just their thumbs and I'm pulling an Epic Fail up in this b$%&h. :jerkit:
Can anyone give me a few pointers so I can stop looking like a complete putz when I'm trying to open my Tenacious?

Stick thumb in hole and pop it straight up not outwards and the blade will fly right out and if u can't get the hang of that flick it out with the back of your thumb nail.. Hope this helps

Put the tip of your thumb in the hole (not the pad of your thumb) and flick forwards not sideways.

You might try loosening the pivot just a tad...as a last resort if changing your technique doesn't help.

Muchas Gracias! I had already loosened the pivot by got distracted to start the party I was prepping for at the time. I need to get back into the shop and tighten the pivot back up a bit as my blade now has a slight wobble to it.

Thanks guys!
